  1. Absolutely love the JAM flies, how well do they work? Looks identical to the sand and mud prawns, don't know how a grunter would say no to that. Keep up the good work!

  3. Have been looking all over for good Grunter patterns and I'd really like to get my hands on some of these patterns in biggish sizes. I do tie a few pretty rough looking flies of my own now and then, but I'm no expert. Anyone tying these commercially that I can buy from...?

  5. Hi Guys

On my last holidays i was in the Groot Brak area and i tried to fly fish for Grunters and Leeries.

But I was unsuccesful in catching any. I saw many grunters feeding and just swimming around. I was using crazy charlies on the fly. Presented it well above the fish so it can drift into the fishes eye sight. I can see the grunters swimming to investigate, but turns and swims away.

That was so exiting, but so frustrating as well..... :)

I am also a beginner at fly tying, but i do find it very satisfying to make my own flies.

I liked the Jam flies. They look just like the real macoy.
Does any one knows about some links on how to tie these flies.

Or if any one has any suggestions or tips it would be much appreciated

    Many thx

    Regards
    Corné
